Spare Parts Sales Co-ordinator (Compressed Air)

Job Title: Spare Parts Sales Co-ordinator (Compressed Air)

Reporting to: Compressed Air Departmental Manager

Principal Responsibilities

  1. Management from enquiry to invoicing of the sales of spare parts that may be sold to UK based companies for use in the UK or overseas.
  2. On receipt of customer enquiry, identify requirements, determine solutions and prepare quotations for spare parts for compressed air customers within time/budget constraints.
  3. On receipt of customer purchase order, create a job on Clik.
  4. Obtain best prices for materials required for jobs.
  5. Pick, pack and despatch items from stock where available.
  6. Place orders for materials within the Clik software system.
  7. Complete all paperwork and pass jobs to accounts for invoicing.
  8. Create, update and manage e-commerce sites and sales (e-bay and website).
  9. Assist Storeman with stock management in our warehouse.
  10. Building relationships with new and existing customers and suppliers.
  11. Work within the QMS.
  12. Communicate effectively with all departments ensuring a good working relationship for the benefit of the company.

Key Performance Indicators

  1. Understanding of clients requirements and quoting accordingly.
  2. Conformance with appropriate Quality Procedures and Work Instructions.
  3. Finding savings from purchases.
  4. Reduction of company stock holding.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  1. Practical experience in mechanical estimating preferred.
  2. Familiar with Microsoft Office package.
  3. An individual who is capable of working unsupervised and is motivated by accuracy and attention to detail.

Hours: 40 hours per week, (8.30 – 17.00, Mon – Fri)

Holidays: 23 days per annum + bank holidays

Location: Office based role in Watford

Accounts Assistant (Sales Ledger)

Job Title: Accounts Assistant (Sales Ledger)

Reporting to: Accounts Department Manager

Principal Responsibilities

  1. Completing of jobs on Clik in prepartion for invoicing
  2. Invoicing of jobs on Clik and posteing to sales ledger on Sage 50
  3. Chasing of outstanding sales ledger invoices (credit control)
  4. Liaise with departments to ensure payment of disputed invoices
  5. Maintenance of sales ledger records on Clik & Sage
  6. Answering the telephone
  7. Any other general accounts duties
  8. Communicate effectively wih all departments ensuring a good working relationship for the benefit of the company

  1. Accurate and complete documentation.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  1. Experience in an accounts role preferable.
  2. Familiar with Microsoft Office package, particularly Excel. Sage Line 50 preferred but not essential
  3. An individual who is capable of working unsupervised and is motivated by accuracy and attention to detail.

Hours: 24/25 hours per week, hours to be agreed

Holidays: 23 days per annum + bank holidays

Compressor Engineer

Job Title: Compressor Engineer

Reporting to: Compressed Air Departmental Manager

Principal Responsibilities

  1. To undertake repair, servicing and installation of air compressors and ancillary equipment, in accordance to the current regulations, manufacturer’s recommendations and industry standards.
  2. A working knowledge of compressed air controls systems.
  3. Attend regular approved training courses to renew or refresh equipment knowledge.
  4. Produce reports following service visits along with any certification as required.
  5. Provide customers with technical support or assistance.
  6. Give technical assistance for managers.
  7. Ensure all works/installations are carried out in accordance with the latest statutory regulations or manufactures requirements.
  8. Communicate effectively with all departments, ensuring a good working relationship for the benefit of the company.

Qualifications

GCSE Grade C or better including English Language & Maths.
Compressor manufacturer’s service & maintenance training to date.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  1. An experienced mechanical/electrical compressor engineer with a minimum of five years experience.
  2. A working knowledge of compressors and ancillary equipment, plant, controls and associated plant and systems.
  3. An understanding of plant/electrical drawings.
  4. Producing reports to go to managers, clients and customers.
  5. Good interpersonal skills with staff and customers.
  6. A full clean driving licence.

Area Sale Manager

Job Title: Area Sales Manager

Reporting to: Compressed Air Sales Manager

ACL Engineering Ltd are looking for an Area Sales Manager to work in the South East of England that will be dependent on personal location. As an Area Sales Manager out in the field, you will have the opportunity to promote the business through development of the customer base and new business.

Day to day you will make a difference by…

  • Maintaining new sales with demonstration, exhibition and negotiation in order to achieve targets.
  • To manage the geographical sales area including house and key accounts to maximise sales.
  • Expand the existing customer base
  • Demonstrate and upsell Energy savings and data logging to existing, new and potential customers
  • Working closely with our Service Department and Sales Engineer to ensure an excellent standard of after sales service is provided.

 Overview

  • Capital sales of Atlas Copco Nitrogen and Vacuum products
  • Sales and installation of pipe systems

  • Excellent general computer skills.
  • A good standard of presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed.

Qualifications

GCSE Grade C or better in English  & Maths.

 

Holidays: 23 days per annum + bank holidays

Location: Home based role

Salary expectations: £42,000 – £45,000, depending on experience + commission

ACL Engineering Ltd are looking for a Sales Engineer to work across the South East of England. As a Sales Engineer out in the field, you will have the opportunity to promote the business through development of the customer base and new business.

  • Supporting sales with demonstration, exhibition and negotiation in order to achieve targets.
  • Supporting sales through undertaking site surveys, energy audits and providing technical advice to both existing and potential customers.
  • Working closely with our Service Department to ensure an excellent standard of after sales service is provided.
  • Supporting sales with capital equipment leads and utilising our energy efficient offering
