GA FLX (Dual-Speed) Air Compressors
Introducing a new innovation from Atlas Copco to meet today’s high demands for energy efficiency. The GA FLX range is a completely new dual-speed rotary screw compressor, combining flexibility and efficiency to deliver unbeatable energy saving unmatched by fixed-speed compressors.
ATLAS COPCO GA11FLX – GA30FLX
Traditional single fixed motor speed systems are designed to meet the maximum capacity required but result in a lot of wasted energy when full capacity isn’t needed.
The new dual-speed units can modulate down to a minimum motor speed during unload and can start under pressure delivering optimal flow at any pressure. Minimising transient loss can save up to 20% total energy use.
Energy consumption represents about 80% of the cost of owning and operating a compressor, so this 20% energy saving is where the difference is made, effectively lowering operational costs and helping you to meet sustainability goals.
