PROJECT: Pipework Services for Aerospace & Defence
Our customer decided to purchase a new building for the expert CNC engineering services they provide to Aerospace, Defence and commercial industries, this new building was to house other likewise engineering divisions of the group.
ACL were contacted for their advice on the compressed air distribution system. Using our years of experience and calculation tools we recommended using the Atlas Copco AIRnet pipe system product.
The pipework ringmain was installed in 40mm pipe, all outlets and drops with 20mm, this system allows excellent flow with room for future expansion.
As other machines are positioned in the new factory we can use the extra tees that were installed and plugged, or cut new tees in with minimal downtime to the customer, with the plug and play AIRnet product.
